Talking about makeup and Covid 19

Ever since I was a teenager I was always fascinated by makeup. Until I was about 14/15 I didn't have my own but once I had my own makeup I started experimenting with different colors. I started practicing how to use eyeliner. To be honest it took a while to master that. But When I was 16/17 I was heavy into Marilyn Manson so I got really good with the black eyeliner. I considered myself a goth until I was about 21 so I mostly wore black around my eyes. After that phase and then through the rest of my 20's into my 30's I got really good with makeup. I applied it on friends and family. I learned how to apply it for a night on the town. Then when cell phones came out and I had to look good all the time! So within the last year I decided I wanted to use my talents with makeup and nails and start up a business.  

But right now it's May 13 2020 and the Covid 19 virus is still a strong issue so I cant work my business. I'll keep updating posts on the virus.

So usually a makeup artist is used for an event or something quite grand such as a wedding, civil partnership, or portrait photo sessions. This does not intimidate me as I have been using makeup and applying it for years. I will work with my clients to ensure that the experience of them having makeup applied is right for them. I will ensure that sessions are laid back and informal because the best makeup on you will be when you’re looking relaxed, not when you’re sitting at a silly angle with a posed smile on your face. I will ensure I have a variety of different colors and shades of eyeshadows and lipsticks so if you change your mind it's ok.

If it's for a wedding,your look can be classic and simple, that way if you want to leave the dress as the center of attention or we can make it so that you are bold and brighter and you and the dress share the spotlight. It’s your day, and I'm there to do whatever you like. A Civil Partnership, I can do either both of yours or just one. Just like a bride, I can make either of you look classic and simple or I can make you look bold and bright. It's really up to you and what you'd like for your photos. I can do any look either of you would like. It's your special day. I also do smaller events such as family photo shoots. I'll do the whole family's makeup whether its cohesive or different,I'll do whatever they want. My range isn't limited. I have a wide array of ideas and skills in this industry and can't wait to apply them!
